Alex Byers joins Elle Obgyn with a strong passion for women's health. After earning a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering from the University of Kansas, she discovered a true passion for healthcare and decided to pursue a career in nursing. She obtained her BSN from the University of Missouri Kansas City, where she gained a solid foundation in patient care and nursing principles.
Driven by a desire to expand her knowledge and make a more significant impact, Alex completed her MSN from Maryville University in 2022. This advanced degree equipped her with the specialized skills and expertise needed to provide comprehensive care to women in the areas of obstetrics, gynecology, and general healthcare.
She has 10 years of nursing experience, starting her career as a Labor and Delivery nurse in Kansas City, where she developed a deep understanding of the unique needs and challenges faced by women during childbirth. Since moving to South Carolina in 2016 she has worked as an Operating Room nurse, refining her ability to provide care in a fast-paced and complex surgical environment.
Beyond her professional commitments, Alex finds joy in spending quality time with her husband and two sons. She can also be found enjoying the outdoors or eagerly cheering for the Kansas Jayhawks.
